2019 Symposium
Symposium on Ocean Circulation, Ecosystem, HypoxiA and CoNsequences (OCEAN_HK) 2019
The last symposium of OCEAN_HK 2018 was attended by more than 100 scientists, professionals and specialists, from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, United States and other countries/ regions and had a high-level scientific discussion. In 2018-2019, the project team has completed the on-site review visit and received positive comment from the RGC Monitoring and Assessment (M&A) Panel Members.
In this year, the third "Symposium of Ocean Circulation, Ecosystem and HypoxiA around Hong Kong watsers (OCEAN_HK) 2019” is going to hold in The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on 13-14 June 2019. The symposium is organized by RGC funded Theme-based Research Scheme project: “Diagnosis and prognosis of intensifying eutrophication, hypoxia and the ecosystem consequences around Hong Kong waters: coupled physical-biogeochemical-pollution studies”. It is our honor to have our International Advisory Committee again to support and calibrate our project. The project officer is pleased to announce the call for participation.
