First ever deployment of scientific buoy in Hong Kong

The first ever marine monitoring scientific buoy in Hong Kong has been successfully deployed in Southwestern water area, a significant hypoxia area, on 25 June 2018. This buoy would serve as a time-series monitoring with moorings to measure the time series of physical, biogeochemical, and pollutant variables, which can provide valuable and precious data for analysis.
