Seminar “Modelling Estuarine and Suspended Sediment Transport Dynamics in the Sydney Harbour Estuary” in HKUST

In the first part, Prof. Wang introduced the Flood-ebb and spring-neap variations of turbulent mixing, stratification and estuarine circulation in Sydney Harbor Estuary. After that he introduced the complex bathymetry and lateral circulation in Sydney Harbor Estuary. The asymmetrical circulation structure with a lager velocity during ebb was shown based on the model result and physical dynamics of it was given by Prof Wang.
